"In keeping with the theme of creating new by taking from the past, I came across Hanna’s ceramics at the recent ICFF show. I loved how she took traditional patterns, but used them in inventive ways, by placing them on the inside of vases and cups, and adding drips and hot pink velvet flock to the outsides. She has also done a series of brooches, which are meant to hang on a wall. Everything in the collection has a fresh, feminine, fun appeal. There is a store in Soho carrying some of the pieces called Clio."

New Product - Teatime cup

This cup shape was born 2002 but it was not until May this year at ICFF in New York City that the cup (note without a saucer) was presented as a new product for an audience. The Teatime cup with vintage rose patterns inside is available to basket but on order. The cup comes in plain white, blush pink, soft blue, moss green and mellow yellow. It is also available with a lush dripping of white gold on the rim. For all those who like it traditional, a saucer will appear in the future but not for some time.

Exhibition - Icff New York

This weekend from 19th - 22nd of May Hanna Tonek Bonnett will be on site at ICFF stand 2410. I will be exhibiting a selection of Wilma tealight holder/vessel my new range of Cupcake Cards, Saga Vases, Teatime cups and Helvi Cake stand. I have never exhibited on my own in the states so this will be a new experience and with the help of BEDG it will be a great experience. It makes it all better that Mr L will help me out to put the exhibition stand together. Please come and say hi if you are passing by.
