Benny Ekman and Hanna Tonek Bonnett, Sweden.

Welcome to ‘Twilight Night’ where your sleep fantasies all come true. Imagine being tucked into your winter’s night bed by two beautiful snow ladies, drift away knowing that you are in their hands. As you enter this sensual suite you will be gifted with an ice flower bouquet. Notice the ice sculpted bird and the lamppost; he will keep watch as you lay your head. Sleep well.

This is Benny Ekman’s fifth ICEHOTEL suite and Hanna Tonek Bonnett’s first. Benny is a well known Swedish painter, sculptor and illustrator. He lives and works in Västervik, Sweden. Hanna is also from Västervik but now lives and works in London, England. She is a ceramic artist and also works with different textures and materials. Hanna has received awards from the British Government and has had exhibits in London, Dubai, Tokyo and the U.S.A."

During November och December Benny Ekman and Hanna Tonek Bonnett will be in Jukkasjärvi building and working hard on the project "Twillight Night" the amazing mega structure of snow and ice called the IceHotel. You will be available to look at us working away on a webcam so keep your look out for us.

A new addition to the "50's Astronauts wife" collection is the "Ring". It is available in the blue and the green style bobbles in different sizes. Orders only.
It's Silver and ceramic and the rings are made in sweden at a specialized awarded jeweler called sjöjungfrun.

I wish I was a china cup of which you sip your tea, so that every time you take a sip, it would mean a kiss to me.
Just wanted to say that our web shop will slowly make it's way online very very soon so keep your eyes out.

When I was back home in Sweden Vimmerby tidningen wrote a notis about me and my whereabouts.
I was back home to close my studio butik in Västervik in Sweden. Not to worry for all you who go to shop there, there will always be something new I will come up with. Just wait and see. The wait will be worth it as always.

So it is the week after the imm fair in Cologne. It was a very interesting and intensive exhibition. A lot happened in this beautiful city. Hanna Tonek Bonnett will be attending the International Furniture Fair (IMM) held in Cologne (Köln) from the 19th-25th of January 2009.
We will be exhibiting Wilma tealight holder/vessel, Saga Vases in all sort of patterns and Teatime T-cups n' saucers. Please come and say hi if you are at the fair, we will be at the biggest stand on building 3.1 with the BEDG you can't miss us.

Autumn blues, the weather is turning all colder but no sign of any fluffy white stuff just yet. The really lovely thing about autumn is the coldness crisp edge with brightly coloured leafs swaying from the trees holding on to dear life. Another cosy thing is lightning every single tealight and candle in the house. These are our Wilma tealight holders in bone china.

This is what it looks like at home when some new teatime cups get patternized, to then get fired once more and then sent out to the shops where they are available to purchase. Though ceramic is what comes out of the studio, there is also a little cupcake factory going on in the kitchen, in fact very known around here is HTB delicious cupcakes.

I do think it is time for some tea and a cupcake.

These beauty's are a part of the new "50's astronauts wife" range. The pattern is available with green & gray or blue & gray blobs. The cup is from the teatime range (also known as t-cup) and is available in green, white, blue and yellow.

Lovely Jo at 12 Degrees Gallery has got a prime location at 46a George Street in Edinburgh. The boutique sell Wilma, t-cups, Helvi cakestand, Ribbon budvases and flocked/garland Saga vases.

If you find yourself wondering around Edinburgh at lovely George street to be precise, it is worth visiting 12 Degrees. It is not only a shop, there is a petite gallery at the back as well, where Jo showcase designers work in solo shows.

Visuell Design is a new location in Stockholm to purchase the Saga vases, Betty cushions, Leo tealights and T-cups from teatime range. Apart from my stuff they sell lovely vintage danish furnitures as well. So nip in if you are in the area.
